Datalink, along with 20,000 of our close friends have been busy getting ready for VMworld 2013 in San Francisco next week. The virtualization and cloud event that is primarily customer focused is sure to be a busy week. VMware will be rolling out the latest information about updates on major initiatives like vCloud, Software Defined Data Center, End User Computing and vCloud Hybrid Services. As a Premier and National Solutions Partner, Datalink has been well aligned with their virtualization and cloud strategy for some time now. We continue to lead as VMware evolves the vCloud strategy (primarily a private cloud) to include vCloud Hybrid Services (public cloud) into a hybrid strategy. Datalink and VMware are partnering to showcase live working presentations of a hybrid cloud solution that was built by Datalink in our Datalink on Demand Labs (DoD Labs). This solution is a combination of VMware private cloud infrastructure integrated with VMware’s new hybrid cloud services (vCHS, i.e. public cloud). VMware will be specifically referencing Datalink and our capabilities in their booth and in a live session presentation at VMworld.

This puts Datalink at the forefront and in a leadership position in developing and delivering hybrid cloud solutions to help our customers transform IT. This is an exciting addition to our ongoing efforts in bringing new offerings to market that meet the changing business demands of our customers affected by the market pressure and opportunities associated with ITaaS. If you are in San Francisco stop by our booth #331. If not, we can schedule an appointment to review the updated Datalink On Demand Labs at your convenience.
