More than 300 employees just wrapped up Datalink’s Tech Summit event in Las Vegas last week. It was a grueling (albeit interesting) schedule. Three days were filled with a host of general sessions and more than 60 breakout sessions about data center trends, innovations, and best practices. Primarily led by practice managers (like me) and field engineers, breakout session topics ran the gamut from virtual data center design and deployment practices to big data.
This venue provides an opportunity for networking and learning like no other. I gotta be honest, every time we do this, I walk away feeling great about the caliber of talent that we have at our company.
We also had four customers (Hughes Network Systems, Cook County Health & Hospitals System, Career Education Corporation, and Velocitor Solutions) participate in a panel discussion about their virtual data center initiatives and outcomes. Great dialogue. And, a great way to provide our teams with real-world insights from data center leaders at each of the companies.
What’s next? It’s back to life as we know it… helping customers transform their data centers and drive greater optimization.
