Symantec Vision affords Datalink invaluable time with Symantec  customer-facing teams, sales and product leadership to  get clarity on future solution roadmaps, strengthen our technical training and better equip  our field organization to help our customers  maximize the value of their current & future investment in Symantec products.

This year, the conference centered on Symantec's new forward-looking strategy towards quality and the streamlining of processes to better address customer needs.  This is in alignment with Datalink's customer-centric approach to Symantec solutions, ensuring our customers receive the benefits of our over 20 years of specialized expertise with Symantec products.

Datalink was well represented this year.  Fourteen people from Datalink attended, including field representatives from across the country, as well as corporate leadership, and members of our managed services organization. In addition, many of our clients were there and stopped by our booth at Partner Expo where we highlighted our unified data center solutions and how to help our customers meet their business objectives.

Datalink was able to secure new products for testing in our Datalink On Demand Labs, including Data Insight Beta for testing integration of Symantec's  DLP Security suite product into Enterprise Vault,  Actiance for social media archiving, and Quadrotech for faster migrations and better PST management. This complements our  initiatives in the DOD Labs surrounding the new Symantec 5400 Appliance beta and will prove invaluable to customers wanting to validate the technology prior to implementation within their organization.

Members of the Datalink team spent time talking with Symantec about targeted solutions for healthcare. Leveraging our proven expertise with existing healthcare customers, Symantec and Datalink are  working together to help healthcare providers leverage information technology to support key  business Initiatives.

Datalink team members also met with senior product management for Enterprise Vault, Clearwell and NetBackup Appliance, securing additional training, as well as beta products to enhance product expertise and enhance our professional and managed services.

Datalink engineers attending Vision gained valuable lab time with products and secured additional certifications for NetBackup and Clearwell, further strengthening Datalink's depth and breadth of knowledge.  Congratulations to field engineers Mahan Rafizadeh, Scott King, Rob Trudel, and Terry Gibbar.
